club & Volunteer coordinator - john burns

“Having been involved with the group for the last 18 years starting as a player then being involved on the committee for over 10 years working in various roles, I took over the role of Club & Volunteer Coordinator in November 2016. The role involves coordinating all our teams and volunteers growing our football section and making sure we have enough volunteers to keep the group growing,

I am responsible for making sure that all our members have training and football on a weekly basis, coordinating training venues, match days and making sure our coach and non coach volunteers have everything they need to deliver the best experience for all our members, Building relationships with active schools, the local authority and the local community in general is also an important aspect of my role.”
