New Project Officer: Andrew Westcott

North Kelvin Sports have officially appointed Andrew Westcott as our new Project Officer. Andrew will be overseeing the planning and delivery of North Kelvin Sports' successful community projects. He will be taking over the good work being down by the Bridges and Barriers anti-sectarian project in partnership with Glasgow Primary Schools as it moves into its 4th year and delivering Fit and Able, our project for young people with disabilities, in partnership with schools in the north-west of Glasgow. 

The organisation are very fortunate to have Andrew who joins us with with over 20 years experience delivering community work and grassroots football. Andrew is a Scottish FA C Licence coach with an Honours Degree in Sports Studies. In the last few years, Andrew has been instrumental in establishing Walking Football, Employability, Football Fans in Training and Football Memories projects for various organisations. Last season he was also well as coaching the Glasgow University's 3rd Team. 

Andrew will be taking over the running of community projects from long-serving Project Coordinator, Iain Hunter, who will continue to work alongside both the Club Coordinator and Project Officer on a part-time basis.
